Love is in the air...

I signed up for the Valentine Swap over at And Sew we Craft... we were given our swap partner's details and made a handcrafted item to send them

My parcel arrived a bit early back in January, from Sherry which was lovely for me as I had been feeling under the weather so it really cheered me up to get a surprise

Wrapped in pretty tissue paper was a beautiful handmade shabby chic cream heart with an angel inside

I have a screw in the wall above the inglenook in my bedroom that I have been itching to hang something from, but all my pictures are too big, but this heart is perfect up there and I am going to keep dried flowers in there... I only have a rose so far, but I think it will look great with lavender as well

We didn't swap with the person who gave us our treat, and we were only given first name and address details... it was all deliciously secret! So I don't know who has got what I made, but I do hope they like it...

  6. hi- just read your comment on Annie felt fairies blog and poped over to say that I have a Sad light.
This is the 2nd winter that I've used it- I keep it next to the computer and have it on in the morning for an hour whilst I'm working- and it does seem to do the trick...last year more so than this year I think.
    Good luck!

  10. This is, perhaps, my most slow-pokey week yet. My apologies for taking so long to get over here from “A Little Birdie Told Me..” to enjoy your post. It’s important to me to visit and really give my full attention to all the links, but as the party grows it’s taking more and more time. Thank you so much for bearing with me, and for continuing to share your talent at Rook No. 17!
