Two heads are better than one....

... so what does that make two fascinators?!

When I joined in Beki's Free for All Swap recently I was paired up with Katie of Booty-full Things. We had swapped before and stayed in touch via email. So, when she asked me if there was anything in particular I'd like, that was an easy question to answer..  she had made me some gorgeous notelets for our Afternoon tea swap and as I get through a lot of them, I asked for some more...

Katie asked for a fascinator for a wedding she was off to. I was so chuffed, as I really enjoy making them! As she was either wearing cream or silver, I made her one featuring both those colours

I was also at a wedding earlier in the year and made the bride a fascinator in shades of purple to wear to Ladies' Day at Ascot, it was easy as she *always* wears purple! Then the week before Ascot I find out she isn't wearing purple this year! Another yippee moment... I get to make another fascinator! Her dress is a lovely one from Phase  Eight in shades of blues and terracotta so I rustled up a fascinator to coordinate

So these are the last two of my Monthly Makes for June

As of tomorrow I am Miss July so I shall be blogging about everyone else's Monthly Makes... it's a lovely honour and I shall be digging out my tiara and sash in honour of it. I shall be ably assisted by my divine handmaiden Kandipandi so do drop by to what we are all up to in July

  8. Love the grey fascinator - wouldn't look out of place at a Visual-Kei or cosplay convention, methinks. Also, the red, white and blue one's definitely got an essence of the Jubilee, about it!
Keep up the good work! :)
